Since 1983, Knightsbridge has been building relationships with the most successful early stage venture firms in the United States. Each successive Knightsbridge fund has built upon its predecessor’s top tier relationships, and over the firm’s history we have selectively added new relationships among first rate funds. Today we can provide access to top tier firms that is generally unavailable to newer funds of funds or to institutions seeking to initiate or expand their own direct investments in venture capital.

Our management team has networks and relationships across the spectrum of successful early stage venture franchises. Our 24-year track record as a venture fund investor is something few other funds of funds can match. In addition, Barbara Piette’s experience as a venture capitalist and George Arnold’s experience as a direct investor in private, venture capital-backed companies give us an insider’s understanding of the venture investment process that differentiates us from other funds of funds.

Our core focus continues to be on venture partnerships that invest in technology-based companies at the seed and early stages. A growing number of venture capitalists are seeing opportunities to apply the company building skills for which top early stage investors are renowned to technology companies beyond start-ups. Knightsbridge now views these growth equity and ‘first money in’ funds as a distinct investment option, and we have created an independent investment option within our funds to focus on this adjacent space.
