Final Close of KVC VII
We are pleased to announce the final closing of Knightsbridge Venture Capital VII, our seventh multi-investor early stage and venture growth equity fund of funds.
KVC VII is our seventh multi-investor early stage and venture growth equity fund of funds since our founding in 1983. In building one of the leading venture capital early stage fund of funds franchises, Knightsbridge has raised slightly over $2.1 billion.
KVC VII is well-timed to take advantage of one of the best times to make commitments in the history of the venture capital industry. We believe that the 2008-2011 vintages over which KVC VII will be committed will benefit from strong deal flow across multiple subsectors, reasonable valuations and a developing recovery of IPO markets and M&A activity. Venture industry consolidation is reducing competition for the best deals and favoring the top, experienced, VC partnerships targeted by Knightsbridge. KVC VII is off to a very strong start, with commitments to 16 early stage and venture growth partnerships.
